This page is part of the KL Gateway (v1.2.0: Release) based on FHIR (HL7® FHIR® Standard) R4. This is the current published version in its permanent home (it will always be available at this URL). For a full list of available versions, see the Directory of published versions

Artifacts Summary

This page provides a list of the FHIR artifacts defined as part of this implementation guide.

Behavior: Capability Statements

The following artifacts define the specific capabilities that different types of systems are expected to have in order to comply with this implementation guide. Systems conforming to this implementation guide are expected to declare conformance to one or more of the following capability statements.

klgateway

The Care Gateway (henceforth gateway) is a service that recieves care delivery reports from the municipalities and asynchronously forwards them other data sources such as FLIS and SEI2. Care delivery reports follows the FHIR format specified in the KL-Gateway FHIR Implementation Guide (IG).

Structures: Resource Profiles

These define constraints on FHIR resources for systems conforming to this implementation guide.

CareCitizen

Administrative information about a citizen receiving care or care related services.

CareCitizensOwnObservation

Measurements and simple assertions made about a patient by the patient.

CareCompletedIntervention

Documentation for completed interventions (activities related to one and only one encounter) in Danish municipalities

CareCondition

Detailed information about conditions.

CareDeliveryReport

Deliver report to deliver for each citizen.

CareEncounter

Encounter for following up on conditions, care plans, or observations.

CareFollowUpObservation

Structured result or outcome of a follow up.

CareGeneralEncounter

Encounter for planned and completed meetings between citizens and care staff.

CareGoal

Describes the intended or expected functional level for a condition of a citizen.

CareIncrementalDelivery

Delivery for all delivery reports made since last update (unordered).

CareMatterOfInterestObservation

Matter or area of interest in relation to the care of the citizen.

CarePlannedIntervention

Planned interventions for nursing and home care in Danish Municipalities.

Structures: Extension Definitions

These define constraints on FHIR data types for systems conforming to this implementation guide.

CareFindingContextAtRiskExtension

Context at risk for a given matter of interest given as a condition code.

CareFollowUpEncounterExtension

Encounter for following up on this information.

DeliveryType

Extension for a code that specifies some context of how a treatment-activity is delivered to a patient

basedOnInterventionExtension

Extension for pointing to the intervention describing why this encounter is taking place (will be part of R5 and comming FHIR versions without needing the extension)

Terminology: Value Sets

These define sets of codes used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

DeliveryTypes

The delivery context types

FSIIICareConditions

Conditions defined by FSIII for nursing and home care

FSIIICareGoalTypes

Goal Types defined by FSIII for nursing and home care

FSIIICareInterventions

Interventions defined by FSIII for nursing and home care

FSIIICareMatterOfInterests

Matters of Interests (areas) defined by FSIII for nursing and home care

KLGatewayCareMatterOfInterestValues

Values of Matters of Interests (areas)

KontaktKlasseKoder

Codes to describe the mode of delivery of an encounter

Terminology: Code Systems

These define new code systems used by systems conforming to this implementation guide.

LocallyDefinedInterventions

Coding system to indicate a code defined locally in the managing organization

Example: Example Instances

These are example instances that show what data produced and consumed by systems conforming with this implementation guide might look like.
